Narayanan Karu has over 20 years of financial, accounting and operational experience. Prior to joining iSmart Panache in April 2007, Narayanan Karu worked at Cypress Semiconductor Inc for 11 years, where he played a key role in the successful divestiture of a business unit for $53M to a private equity firm. During his tenure at Cypress Semiconductor, he served as a Controller for multiple business units including $400M product line, world wide manufacturing, technology, IT and design. Prior to Cypress, Narayanan Karu held management positions at PSL Ltd. and Solidaire Ltd. Narayanan Karu holds an MBA from University of Louisiana, a CMA from the Institute of Management Accountants, New Jersey, is a Chartered Accountant from India, and a CPA in the State of California.
